The experience of being coached
After our initial coaching call, where we'll see if I can support you in your goals through coaching, we’ll start our coaching engagement. Most coaching engagements start as a three-month commitment, during which we meet either once a month for an hour or twice a month for 30 minutes each session. I’ve found this schedule to be a great starting point, and together we can assess the need for and interest in further coaching.
From a recent coaching client: "Kristen's ability to ask the hard questions, while maintaining her signature warmth and professionalism, was instrumental for me as I made my career pivot. With her coaching I was able to better understand myself and walk confidently into finding the career of my dreams."
Below are some of the most common areas of focus on which I have worked with coaching clients in the past.

Seek and achieve balance and fulfillment
Do things feel out of balance in your life? Or is there something you want more or less of, but you're struggling to figure out how to make a change? Maybe you want to get better at asking for help, or setting boundaries, or you're anxiously preparing for a transition in your life.
We can work together through coaching to explore what you want, what your options are, and create a plan to achieve it!

Explore or pivot your career
Are you starting out in your career, eager but not sure what you want to do? Perhaps you recently graduated from undergrad or graduate school, and starting your job search is daunting.
Coaching can support you through things like creating a vision for the type of work and impact you want to have, crafting your career search strategy, and preparing to tell your story about the skills and strengths you bring.

Accelerate your performance and leadership
Are you feeling stuck and ready for the next chapter in your career? Perhaps you're interested in pivoting to a different industry or function. Or maybe you're transitioning from individual contributor to manager or developing from manager to leader and you aren't sure what new behaviors and skills you'll need to be successful.
Coaching can prepare you for what's next, and help you step confidently into your next chapter or level.
