About Me

_DSC8646.heic

In my coaching I bring all of my experiences to bear; these include working as a coach, organizational consultant, facilitator, trainer, and manager of many teams. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Communications from the University of California, San Diego and an MBA from Vanderbilt University with a focus in Human and Organizational Performance. I live in Northern California with my husband and our two young, very active sons. I am on a lifelong pursuit of balance in my own life, as someone who loves my work, being a parent, and getting more than 6 hours of sleep! Being a parent has more parallels to being a coach and leader than I ever could have imagined and I am experimenting and learning every day how to be better at all of these roles. I love working with fellow parents who are on a similar journey.

In a professional capacity I have consulted with some of the most revered and loved companies (Pinterest, Chevron, Gap, USF, Girl Scouts, Genentech, GE) as an advisor and coach for leaders taking their companies through major transformations. I have facilitated and trained hundreds of leaders on topics including managing, personal goal setting, coaching, meeting design and facilitation, and giving and receiving feedback. I have coached individuals through launching their careers, changing their careers, improving their performance in their roles and preparing for the next ones, considering retirement, and balancing the various areas of their lives in a way that’s led to more fulfillment and happiness.

One of the reasons I am passionate about coaching is because of the impact and support coaching has had on my life during moments of challenge and transition. At each of the crossroads I have come to so far in my life, I sought out coaching of some kind: when I considered whether to go to business school (I did get my MBA and it was an amazing decision for me), when I prepared for my career search before graduating from business school, when I left a career in consulting to focus on Learning and Development internally at a Tech company, and when I struggled through toddlerhood with my sons (thank you to the parenting coach and podcasts that continue to support me in that transition). In each of those moments, a coach helped me tremendously, and I hope to be able to do the same for others in their moments of opportunity.
